Who I Am
My skill set is unique. I relate to business owners and management in a way that is unique. I have gained 20 years of experience within the world of recruitment, my career has been successful from the beginning, I was the youngest manager for a leading UK recruitment search firm within three years of graduating, I have managed teams and overseen companies on behalf of owners, been involved in start-up businesses and launched my own successful recruitment business. This places me in a unique position to understand the needs of start-up businesses and SMEs, and the benefits and challenges owners, management, and private equity/venture capitalists experience. I understand the dynamics and importance of building the right team. adding relevant insight and experience to today’s recruitment challenges. A company’s success is a direct reflection of the team it recruits, develops, sustains, and grows.
My skill set is a resource that many start-ups and SMEs would not have the budget to recruit for full-time or have access to. I work with clients on individual recruitment projects or campaigns, and together we ensure you attract the very best people to your company.

A retained search approach is tailored against the Client’s needs and is usually deployed for key senior leadership and C-level roles. I will work with you to determine the right approach to secure a successful hire. Retained search is underpinned by the latest market intelligence and research and backed by rigorous standards of delivery. As part of this process, candidate mapping is undertaken to include benchmarking, behavioural selection evaluation and thorough referencing.

I conduct relevant searches throughout all possible avenues including my personal network to identify suitable candidates.

Candidate Evaluation
Once I identify suitable candidates, I make contact with them directly. I present the objectives, opportunities, responsibilities and potential of the position. I gain a deep understanding of what the candidate is looking for, and whether my client is an ideal match, the recruitment process works both ways for clients and candidates. I then scrutinise the qualifications of the candidates against the requirements of the position and finalise a shortlist of respective candidates to present to the client.

The shortlist of candidates will be presented to the client with continued liaising and monitoring throughout the process.

I offer expert counsel and advice at this critical point. I facilitate and communicate between the client and candidate on salary, terms, and benefits. I also support the candidate through the process of resigning from their present position.
